Hey Joe! Sorry to see and hear about your misfortunes at the track man. To put a name to the face, I was the one wearing the white Tuners hoodie and taking the pictures. It's good to have a very respectable DSMer on the board. Welcome!

Good news on the turbo, now about that mirror....

I've been checking ebay for you as I figured you'd really love a set of F1-style faux-CF side mirrors, but I haven't seen a set come up for a 1g as yet -- only 2g's.

I might just have to give up and get you a gift certificate for SBR or SSAC's ebay store.

Hey Joe. Glad you joined our boards. This is A.J. I think I was the only DSM guy wearing one of the Pinks: All Out shirts, so you should remember me. :) I had it on over my blue hoodie. Nice meeting you. Good luck at Bradenton on Saturday. I'll keep my fingers crossed for clean, 9-second passes. :D

You know you want an SBR gift certificate.

Put the fisheye mirror on the windscreen like a rear-view. A small strip of bent aluminum for a bracket and you can rivet that to the wind shield, and sticky tape the mirror to the bracket. If you wanted to be really fancy you could use some thin steel rod and either flatten the ends out to have a workable surface, or tig it to some thin plate and make the bracket from that. If you used the rod it would be more adjustable too.

Slipper clutch? Talk about overkill.

Who do you think you are? Bent Valve?

Seriously though, good luck this weekend, though it'll be disappointing to not be there if you break 9's. :(

By the way, I hope you realize you're still the talk of the town. Apparently you did a decent job of clearing the stands -- you and that mustang that 360'd and hit the wall a couple times.

:lmao:

The irony of it is that I think you had one of, if not the shortest, cleanups all day.

So I have a reputation or something? I have been racing for ten years and I have a reputation after one minor oildown. Well, at least MY track here in Bradenton still loves me.

Car is back together and running. Ready for tomorrow.

Dude, Jupiter is a small town -- what do you expect? Gotta gossip about the lastest out-of-towner who is stirring shit up.

I mean, first run you absolutely RAPED that "All American work of V8 power", then second run you blanket the track with one of the thickest and largest smoke clouds they've ever seen. Hand them their ass and disappear in a cloud of smoke. That's like ninja shit right there.

MitsuNinja make hollywood jealous! HAI!

I'm not a post whore. Fuck, I check the board like once a day. You reply after practically every post O.

So far as Joe with the whoring, at least his sled doesn't run 15's. 10-sec 16g FWD owners/drivers have earned the right to whore if they want. :)

What "they" were saying is that you should've pulled to the side once it blew. As slow as those Moroso fucktards are at cleaning stuff up, it's amazing there were any more runs that evening.
