So, I just added the info to your post. As far I know it's only planned to be
me, Diego and Will. So that still leaves quite a few of you guys to have a

If the meet is still on we would like to come through, we have been trying to link up with other clubs and see what the scene looks like in broward. Me Charles (miami305 on dsmtuners) and my boy Angalo (boostnhard on dsmtuners) are confirmed on being there, we will try the get the rest of the crew to come. So lets us know what the deal is Holla.

That's what this thread is about -- informing you of "what the deal is". The meet is at Checkers on University and Commercial at 7pm this Sunday.

My fault for not reading the rules, im am now up to speed, so i guess we will see you guys sunday at 7pm.

I should be there. Going to try and replace my alternator today. It it'll be a smaller meet, but should still be decent.

Burnt out from this past work week.... dumb-fuck manager schedules 2 people off on vacation the same week, plus another guy got hurt so he was out. On top of that, it's the week before school starts again so it was busy as shit. I can't wait till I'm out of that place.

we are very Disappointed i drove all the way from sheridan and 75 to pick up my dsm crew of 6 people from kendal. Then we drove all the way on 95 north to come to the "SOfla Meet" what a waste of gas. we were there at 7:20pm and stayed there until 9:00pm no sofla members, we even got video, there was a so called original member of sofla waiting there called mike who said he is not surprised no one showed because u guys are not
organized very well. Also a black gentelman with a clean VR4 saw us on university and thought the meet was on, to make a long story short why no post on forum we drove almost 30 miles to eat checkers.

Disorganized? 3 of the main members were at the shootout, one was in Georgia, and I was tired as shit to make it out, when all of my friends weren't gonna be there anyway. Hardly disorganized if you ask me. If you wish to come out again on a day where we all say that we will be there, you will find that we are pretty organized.

Who the fuck is "mike"? I've been with SoFlaDSM over 5 years, and the only "Mike" who's been a member at all in those last 5 years that I can remember is the one who posted above me and wasn't at the meet.

The only other Mike I can think of is the old DSM Shop Mike, but I don't know that he's ever been part of SoFlaDSM (certainly not since I've been around) and last I knew (a month or two ago) he was living elsewhere in the country anyway.

Yeah, I'd say you're the disorganized ones if you chose to attend a local DSM meet with expectations of meeting everyone on the weekend of the Shootout. Any DSM enthusiast would've known the majority of us were making the pilgrimage either to or from Ohio.


On a side note, while I wasn't at the shootout, I chose not to go because none of the main members would be there. Sorry if I missed anyone... I'll be at the next one before I head back up to Boston for the year.

I ended up getting caught up with my girlfriend. Girlfriend > Meet with no one there.

trust me im not making this shit up off the top of my head he said something about a guy named will who is a orginal member and that sometime he comes to the meet in a truck or some shit like that, also he said he was moving and could not come to the recent meets.

Yea, that would be me, and I (thank fucking god!) finished moving a couple months ago. I was in Ohio last weekend for the DSM shootout. I'll be at the next meet, unless some hot chick offers herself as a sacrifice to me.

so im guessing the next meet will be with "most" of the members. If so i will see if the guys would like to ride out again.

I'd guess at the least that myself, o, diego, paul, mike, ed, aj, etc. should all be there at the next one, yes.

OK, there some thing some things I could say, but I won't go there.

I will say this, miami305 if you want to be upset about nobody showing
for a meet, that's fine. I've been down that road before and your not the
only person who has a bit of a journey to make.

But when you start to complain about the members here or our club
in general, you're crossing the line.

Our meets are scheduled for every
other week and if you look back through the events forum. You'll find
tons of different meet threads filled with video and pictures.
You're more than welcome at the next meet to join us. I personally
make every effort possible to come to each meet.

If you choose to come and get to know some of us, then you formulate
an opinion. Until then, if you'd like you can continue to complain about
nobody showing up to this meet in particular. You're more than
welcome to, although your probably not going to like the response you get....

okay first i would like to say that i understand now that no one showed because of the shootout and being tired and ect... i never said anything about any member of this group i clearly restated what i heard from another person that was waiting there for the meet before we got there, we all are her because we love our cars, Yes i understand shit happens so lets just end this conversation and start over, if anything we got some good video footage of us on i 95 anyway so i am in no way angry over the situation.

OK, good we're all friends again.

this footage of yours....
