Post subject:  SoFla DSM Meet (8/6/06)
It's that time of the month again, for anybody new we meet every
other week at the checkers on the corner of universty and commercial
at 7pm sharp!

Lauderhill, FL

There's a Discount Auto parts store across the street from us on the
NE corner of University and Commericial, just incase your still lost on
location.

This is more or less an all DSM meet, N/t(420a's) and Evo's are also
welcome and upon ocassion our members will invite friend's from other
boards or clubs. Which is cool as long as everyone who stops/comes
by can be civil.

And if your car is not running don't feel bad, just try stop by anyway
and have a good time(we welcome beaters :P ). I hope to see everyone
there this sunday, until then take care...

Well see if I go. Gas is soo much right now, and I drive my parents cars until mines done, I dont want to waste their money. Its a hour and a half drive.

Ok, so there migth be a problem this weekend. The weather isn't
projected to be so nice, but hey that's south florida. We might end
up going to Diego's warehouse, but I think that is all depending
on the weather conditons.

Like everything else, it's gonna be day to day. All we can do is wait to
see WTF happens and how much rain and wind we can expect.

There's always a meet, even if the weather is a little less than perfect.
The only exception is when it's dangerous to be outside, so I"ll keep
everyone updated on the status. I'm not sure if I"ll be there this
weekend but I plan to be, regardless ....

Not an excuse. A fact. Im sorry but when I dont have my car and I have to drive someone elses car with someone elses gas I feel bad, expecially when its a HOUR and a half drive. PLus, im broke, my car took all my money. well see.

Isn't there supposed to be a tropical depression or whatever comming our way by Sunday? I know since that I work at Publix, people are already starting to freak out and buy like 8 of the 24 packs of water bottles. I'm down to go if the weather is safe out, but I don't know, I might get called in to help, since I have Sundays off.

I just checked the NHC and weather channel. I'd be surprised if we get much of anything from Chris.

I'll be there, but in the DD. :(

5-7 weeks to go.....

That statement makes it painfully obvious that you haven't been in FL that long. The locals tend to understand the weather by eyeball better than the forecasters. :lol:

Yea I know thats why I said I might show up late. And if not and you really want AJ im right off I-75 on miramar parkway (20mins from the meet going 75-80mph) come pick it up im sure it will help you in finalizing your I/C. "The right way"
