No front bumper, or no front bumper cover? Or both?

I don't know if you can pass tech w/o a front bumper cover, just FYI.

Even if you could, I don't think I would. Aero plays a big role in a good ET & MPH. I'd much rather run with the front bumper cover on.

That's what I was getting at. You probably won't pass tech without th cover. If you don't have the cover or the bumper, you definitely won't pass tech.

ya you guys are right. i thought about that and installed the bumper tonight. trimmed it up all nice and clean. only thing is i still have the black top piece that we all usually cut out, but since we didnt have the right tool to trim that out, we just left it for now, and ill trim it out at work on saturday. also, theres a gap between the bumper and intercooler on the bottom causing you to see through the bumper, exposing the ground. im thinking about making some sort of tray that would go from the inside of the bumper and onto the bottom of the fmic...i think itd make it look a little more clean dont you think?

o well its on and now i dont have to worry about what the track says tomorrow night. ill post up some times (if theyre worth posting lol)

but does anyone know if theyre gonna go?

14.5@97mph w/ a 2.29 60ft lol. I gotta practice launches somewhere...I never launch on the street and I never practice. I only had 2 runs and the 2nd run was horrible...15.2@93 I think it was. They shut it down because a guy flipped his 9 second El Camino. But wow the FMIC helped a lot.

ya he was in the dial-in/ no-time area with all of the other fast domestics that run 8s or 9s. was doing fine till the end...he lost controll swerved left, overcorrected to the right, and once he hit the grass, he flipped a few times. still dont know if hes ok or not, hope he is tho. it was pretty scary.
