Post subject:  DSM meet - tropical park Miami
We had one on February 28th and it was a huge success so we're having another one!!

The plan is to hang out at the park, then we are all cruising to a location to be determined still to eat and then all cruising to Miami Beach.

I can't believe how much I drove my car today, it's a beast.
Although, the coilovers make it a "bumpy" ride on the Palmetto.

Meet wasn't as bad as I expected because a few familiar faces showed up.
I might go again in the future but not with my car.

Who showed up?

Anyone from the old MIA crew?

I'm told the "new" Bird Rd. meets are sometimes getting up to 30 cars/people. Does that seem about right/reasonable given what you saw?

I'd say about 15 cars showed, although they showed up on "Puerto Rican" time.
I.E. meet was scheduled for 12 and nobody showed till about 1.
All 2G's, nobody I know, mostly young guys. One guy came down from Boca,
I forget his name but he's on the link forums. Thierno, was a no show.

Jimmy, Brendon and Andrew showed up, I can't believe jimmy stills tunes
that car with an AFC. And another guy that I know from hanging out at Garry's
with a "600 hp" 2G, Carlos. Friends with Danny and Hector.

Overall, Your not missing anything but I will always come out and try to
keep supporting the DSM community down here. I'm just glad it wasn't
a rice festival, which I expected to see some of.
