Thanks! I can't wait to boost it (need fuel mods)! Btw, I put the TD05 housing back on for now just so iI can have a good boost reference. I'll put the other compressor housing back on when I figure out if i wanna put a nipple on for boost source and iI get a new manifold (put the stock 2g one back on).

It was a race between forced performance and slowboy. The turbo(FP) and o2(SB) were both ordered back on 07/20 and they arrived on 09/12 and 09/15  . When they say "made to order" they arent kidding :?

Umm, ok, if you say so.

Turning up the boost can be dangerous too  Boost creep is one of those mysteries of turbo charging. And I've noticed it to be more of a 2G problem? weird....

Turning the boost up to 22psi vs. letting it creep to 22psi is no more or less "dangerous" or problematic. In fact, if you set it to 22psi instead of letting it creep there, it's probably safer as you can tune the car for 22psi instead of 18 creeping to 22.

And a 'mystery of turbocharging'? Mystery to YOU maybe.

Is there a topic of discussion today? Let's get the ball rolling on figuring out a SoFlaDSM video/cruise video.

How does 13/14 psi on the new setup compared to 20-something on the old?

On my car it definitely seemed to pull harder on the "green" than on the 16g, even when running only half the boost (12psi vs 24psi).

Yeah, but doesn't that turbo flow more @ 12 psi than a 16g @12psi
:??:

I was saying that the big turbo @ 12psi pulled about as hard (or maybe harder) than the smaller turbo @ 24psi.

My setup is rather different compared to L's though, so that's why I was wondering/asking.

The spool up is DEFINITELY not that bad though. Probably ~200-500rpms higher than with the 16g.
