Hey Will, is the RC still out of commission?

The weather is beautiful today for a meet.
C'mon guys!

:)

Hey guys, just wanted to say sorry for not being able to attend anything lately. I got a promotion at work and I've been pulling a lot of hours. I'm like basically in charge of making sure the whole dry grocery department is ordered and inventory is correct lol.

Congrats on the promotion! It's good to move up in an organization pay wise, career wise, and resume wise!

As for the truck, I had the stock (plastic) shaft at the house. I just swapped that on and it's good to go. Been trying to source a drive shaft with longer cups since Sunday (I've found two so far... one in Canada and the other in New Zealand).

Thanks Will. I'm pretty much a manager without the title, pay, and power now. I have access to the whole computer system and everything lol.

I was unable to attend due to a prior obligation (and no, it wasn't anything to do with the Superbowl -- I'm proud to say I don't know who played, or who won, and I watched absolutely none of it).

I don't know if anyone else made it out or not. Given the lack of activity in this thread, and the fact that it was superbowl Sunday, I'd suspect not.

Our meets always fall on SB sunday and in the past we still had a meet.

Not this year though.
:(

As Will stated the lack of activity here made me stay home. Could care less
that it was SB sunday, like I said it hasn't stopped us before.

I remember last year when you guys had a meet on Superbowl sunday and I was like WTF! Still can't believe you guys wanted nothing to do with the best sports weekend of the year. Lol Real men watch football. Haha

It's not that I'm not a sport fan, I love sports(all kinds(well the competition part of it anyway)).
Thankfully, F1 is in the morning, "NHRA today" is also in the morning.
The eliminations I try to catch either before or after the meet.

All my other sports, well lets's just say the season over way before it's actually over
(With the exception of 2 WS titles in the past 4-5 yrs. 8) almost 3 :-( ).
So I really couldn't give a crap who does what, until next year is the saying.

So it's just twice a month the way I look at, so why not come?
Although, if my team was actually playing this past weekend
(which would be a "once-in-a-lifetime" event) I probably would skip out the
meet early(only because I could care less for the "festivities").
