Post subject:  What up everybody
Hey South Florida, My name is David, I have a 1997 Eclipse RS soon to be RS-Turbo, car is down because of tranny. but I have all the Parts, also have a 1996 Eclipse RS and a 07 Lexus IS250.

Im finally fixing up my 97 cause I miss driving it but Im planning to do a A/T to M/T Swap cause my current A/T Tranny is gone. If anyone can give me some links on how to do it or even know a shop that will do the swap for a reasonable price Please let me know. Other than that I like long walks on the beach, purple drink (not to be confused with Grape Juice) :D , and Breaded hooters Wings but naked Hooters Girls :wink: ..lol.. Im planning to go to the next meet since I live in Coral Springs and Hope everybody's cool with me bringing my Lexus to the meet since my DSM is down.. Let me know..

Thanks guys, hopefully there will be a meet if that tropical storm doesnt come thru..

I thought it was mainly a DSM meet?? Or do you guys unite with other clubs or something??

We tend to stick to within our own group. Most of the other "clubs" [vette and mustang guys excluded] tend to be numb-nut teens that attract LOTS of very negative police attention.

I should add, the lack of DSMs vs. other cars has everything to do with the fact that most of us have alternative/2nd vehicles to drive when the DSM is down.

Yeah, thanks bro I figured out why the link wasnt working for me and that was because I was on my work computer and they try to block almost everything.

Thanks sillycon that makes more sense. By the way, how long have you guys been meeting by the checkers?? And I know what you meen about some of the stupid teens who like to show off their fastnFurious wannabe replicas, and two minutes later Cops show up... Thats why I never went back to towers.

SoFlaDSM has a history of meeting at that checkers (on and off) going back longer than I've been a member [i.e. more than 6 or 7 years]. We've been there continuously now for the last 2 or 3 years at this point I think though.
